This privacy policy explains how Eurolink (UK) Ltd (“Eurolink”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit eurolinkuk.com, send us an enquiry, apply for a job or contact us on WhatsApp. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What information we collect
Business enquiries
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if given), whether you are a business or a driver, and your message.
Job applications
When you apply to drive with us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, whether you are a fresh or experienced driver, and anything else you choose to tell us. If we take your application forward, we will ask for further information needed to assess and employ you — such as your licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card details, right-to-work documents and references. We will explain what we need, and why, at that stage.
If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and the content of your messages. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp LLC / Meta; their own privacy policy also applies.
Website use and cookies
Like most websites, our site collects technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working properly. We only use non-essential cookies with your consent. Full details are in our Cookie Policy, and you can change your choices at any time using the cookie banner.
3. How we use your information and our lawful basis
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotes — legitimate interests in running our business, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To assess job applications and recruit drivers — steps taken at your request before entering into an employment contract, and our legal obligations (for example, right-to-work and driver licensing checks).
- To keep our website secure and prevent spam — legitimate interests.
- To use non-essential cookies — your consent.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Who we share your information with
We only share your information where necessary, with:
- our website hosting and email delivery providers, who store and send website data on our behalf;
- Google reCAPTCHA, which checks form submissions for spam (Google’s privacy policy applies);
- WhatsApp / Meta, when you choose to contact us on WhatsApp;
- professional advisers, regulators, the police or other authorities where we are legally required to.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
5. How long we keep your information
- Business enquiries: 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Unsuccessful job applications: 6 months after the recruitment decision.
- Successful applicants: information moves to your employee record and is kept in line with our employee privacy notice.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To make a request, contact us using the form on our Contact page, on WhatsApp, or by post to our registered office. We will respond within one month.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
